HARMANY Equine's INR Formula (Insulin Resistant)

For horses who have a difficulty with cresty necks, poor shedding, drinking excessively and may show signs of laminitis or insulin resistance.
This product has been designed to support the horse with symptoms of insulin resistance, which include laminitis; long hair; poor shedding; poor digestion; increased blood levels of insulin, cortisol, ACTH and low levels of thyroid, and equine Cushing’s syndrome. The base is hemp meal. The other ingredients we have been using in this practice to treat horses with laminitis and other symptoms. This formula can be fed with 100 to 600 mg of Co Enzyme Q 10 if your horse is exhibiting signs of laminitis.

The base is hemp meal, which contains Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, and conjugated linoleic acid, (CLA) all of which help glucose and insulin get into the muscle cells where glucose is burned as fuel. They increase the fat burning biochemical pathways in the liver.
