Herbal Remedies

Herbs are designed to work in a truly holistic way.

The body is treated as a whole, using herbs which, through a variety of actions, will strengthen and support the horse's physiological Systems, enabling it to "heal itself'.

Herbs are a gentle therapy, and as such, will take 3-4 weeks to be absorbed into the system and have a beneficial effect. Often, once the herbs have been used for a month the dosage can be reduced to a maintenance level.

Herbs can be used safely in conjunction with conventional medicines.

A Mix to Balance the Hormonal System

Hormonal imbalances may manifest as irritability, stiffness in the back area, shortened strides, irregular cycles or mood changes. Hilton Regulate is the original formula to use the herb Vitex Agnus Castus to gently and effectively balance the hormonal system. Vitex enhances corpus luteal development, normalizes the menstrual cycle and encourages ovulation. It reduces and may eliminate hot flashes, relieves cramps and helps reduce and eliminate endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Vitex also nourishes the pitutary gland. This Valerian free blend also acts to relieve muscle stiffness, and support the nervous and reproductive systems. This blend has also been helpful for "riggy" (studdish) geldings. For males Vitex is known as an anti-aphrodisiac. Regulate may also be helpful in helping the male to adjust to the hormonal changes of gelding. Hilton Herbs - RELEAF The Herbal Asprin

Hilton Releaf has been formulated for a variety of applications.

Keep it in the first aid kit and use it for your horse, in exactly the same way you would use an asprin for yourself.

Contains:

Meadowsweet - to relieve inflammation and pain particularly in rheumatic and arthritic conditions. It also reduces gastric acidity and has an astrigent action.

Willow - also has analgesic, astrigent, anti-inflammatory and febrifuge (sweat inducing and fever reducing) properties.

Devils Claw - a well known herb used for anti-inflammatory, analgesic and bitter principles that promote the release of digestive juices and support liver function.

A Blend for General Discomfort and Inflammation Relief

This potent new "Herbal Aspirin" is a high strength tincture blend designed for use in the same way one would use Bute, but without the side effects. Comprised of three tried and true herbal tinctures in a base of organic Apple Cider Vinegar and WIldflower Honey, fast-acting Releaf can provide your horse with the support it needs during periods of discomfort or inflammation while safe-guarding the health of the stomach lining.
